My 500 GB hard disk was downsized to 32 GB after making this HDD Windows 10 bootable. Even when I tried to format it, it showed capacity 32 GB. Then I got a tutorial in Youtube in the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TRWUJ1oZHc
In the Windows 'run' command prompt, I run the command 'disk part'
Then 'select disk 1'. It was my external HDD ID. Check your disk with care. Otherwise you might format your main disk.
Then 'select partition 1'
Then 'delete partition'
Then 'create partition primary'
If error comes, then give the command 'clean'
Then 'create partition primary'
If the disk is visible now, then right click and format it. Else go to
Windows, Right click 'My PC' -> Manage -> Disk Management -> select disk carefully -> Right click on the disk -> format
